It feels like the time for another brazen plug for the Lincolnshire Bomber Weekend (Jan 14/15). Relays on the Saturday, then a C4 with a Long-O attached on the Sunday. The long-O won't be as technical as the Aldershot one, but it will be through some beautiful runnable forests, and maybe a bit more climb than you would expect in Lincolnshire. Check the website for details
http://www.rafo.org.uk/Rafo/pages/lincsbomber.htm with trophies for the relay winners and free t-shirts for all finishers on the Long-O, and at bargain prices, all we need now is a sunny weekend.

Liam, As we have moved event centre away from Sandhurst, in case you are all mistaken for low life Sun reporters trying to sneak in, all we need is to have your name on our list and then you just bring some prove of ID with you, passport, D/licence, BOF card etc. Details will be on BAOC & EMITUK websites.
For your info planner informs me courses are 42 & 25 km for MTBO and 38 & 17 for long O, you could also do first 17km MTBO & then run 17km long O, or even run the 25km MTBO second half. That should get rid of any excess christmas pud!

38km - bring it on! I've already entered so no backing out now, plsu i reckon all my KIMM training should mean this'll be a doddle

Just as a really wacky thought - could I do the MTBO 25km, then the 38km Long-O? I think I should be able to make a 12:30 start for the long-O if I get a 10:30 start on the MTBO, though I suspect I might need a headtorch to finish 38km of O given a 12:30 start!
