BOC2006

This probably contravenes the house rules on advertising but the BOC2006 website is now up and running at http://www.boc2006.co.uk. Not a lot on there at the moment but hopefully building up over the next few months. Some map snippets of the area (not previously used for orienteering) are displayed for your viewing pleasure.

Neil it looks very good and exciting and I like the logo - but please please get your webmaster to correct the spelling of Accommodation which has been spelt wrong twice on the front page :? Sorry to be so picky.

If you were picky then you would want 'sparce' to say 'sparse' as well :shock:

But I think it looks good too, apart from that nasty phrase 'steep scarp slope' of course!

Thanks for pointing out the spelling errors - after using the program for several years I've now found the spell-check facility in Dreamweaver.

Regarding the logo I had some nice ideas about making the BOC 2006 letters out of the Stag's antlers (Deer farming is big business on the Cowdray estate) but didn't have the artistic abilities to bring the idea to fruition.

As for the scarp slope... well we didn't want you to have the impression that Sussex is flat and boring.

Just avoid a typical Beaudesert finish please - I hate 100m up a 1 in 2 for the run in !

A campsite has been identified within walking distance of the relay assembly area. Watch this space...

Possibly the website should have read "Accommodation is space..."?
