Only last Sunday Brian Hughes was saying what an athlete you were having watched/ followed you across the heather at Ansons Bank.

Not bad for someone who didn't get picked for the World Champs.

The 2 weeks he spent getting lashed in the Alps with me obviously paid off.

Was that Craney running the Brown course for the first time or for the second time? Or when he helped out by collecting controls in after those two runs??

Being a bit of a stato have looked at the control by control positions and both Craney and Helen were consistant, however it seems that there was a real sting in the tail, as the Swiss chap who was in 1st place took 3+ mins on last but one leg when fastest time was 38 secs. Also both Heather and Sarah dropped right out of contention at the end. It will be really interesting to see the maps
