Running in Sutton park I very nearly tripped over a random naked guy lying face down on a veg. boundary in the woods - I proceeded to leg it as fast as I could away from the area, but think he was asleap. Scared the life out of me

Talking of Ansons Bank (other thread), This car park on the chase is the one Mr Stan Collymore used to frequent and made famous.

On thursday night training from there we often get men driving into the car park, turning round and drving out again.
Im sure they get quite excited to see the car park so full of people in varying stages of undress until they realise what is actually going on

running in the lakes, when 14 having never heard of a fookin tick, returned home to find I had 42, yes fourty-two ticks about my upper body, and other in not so upper body parts. nightmare. went to the school nurse with a bemused look on my face and she had no idea. not a clue.
then about a year after my GP dug em all out with a needle my mum goes in with another un-O related injury and he spots all her lacerations from brambles and the like and asks about cat scratches. She says it's orienteering - and he mentions this ginger kid who had all these ticks the year before. i still get funny looks down the doctors....
