Can you name?
A West Midland area that is virtually bramble and bracken free in mid August, has few nettles, has large areas that are extremely runnable? This is not a dream I've been there this August.

What no bracken. I've never run on the chase where there is no bracken

One further fact this area has sections that have large amounts of contour detail. I think that'll rule out the OD areas GG mentioned and I know it rules out Warwick Uni. I'd say it also rules out Sutton Park as well. The Lickeys are the closest any ones got to the area but not too high on the technical detail.

Burton Dasset - brings back memories from the very early 80's. Indeed good contours and not much more vegitation than short cropped grass I seem to remember. Second master maps on a green course - can only be an OD area!
