although exactly what you were doing with a surfboard in the middle of a safari i don't know.
To find a tiger, you need to be in the jungle! or in Siberia, not really safari country!!
Sharks look mean as hell, where as a tiger could look cute

That would give you brown pants!!

On the off chance you managed to punch a tiger's teeth out I don't expect you'd be around long enough to watch it starve to death. On the other hand if on the off chance you managed to punch a shark's teeth out then you could probably swim to safety before it grew new ones.
Is it Friday yet?

cut me a little slack.
a tiger would cut me slack.
whereas a Shark would most definitely rip my arm off.
yeah, Sharks are better.

Finally the tide turns....
i was waiting to release the hollywood theory as well, after discussing this query with a work chum.
i doubt you could punch a sharks teeth out (remember they have multiple rows of teeth) and then swim to safety, it would still be able to swim dead fast and semi-swallow you, maybe even take you to some mates of his.
a tiger, toothless would have to resign to sucking milk through a straw and playing with balls of wool.

I'd like to see you try with a tiger as well!
See sharks are rubbish - this guy isn't scared:

While we're on shark facts - if you turn one upside-down it can't swim. How rubbish is that.

ii liked this.
1. if you turn a tiger upside down it can't run. rubbish.
2. that guy isn't scared because that is a tiny (possibly baby) shark. i bet you'd get a que of people who wouldn't be scared to hold a baby tiger.

No but an upside-down tiger can right itself - a shark can't. It can't move at all because it loses blood pressure or something. Really!
No it's not a baby - it's just a small shark. Maybe if the subject was tiger vs great white shark, or cat vs shark but it isn't.

and i have to admit - if its that easy to defeat a Shark, i may have to put my hat in the tiger corner
