Starts in half an hour - anyone stayed awake in the Uk to see what's happening...

Mhairi off at 9.10am - about 40mins from now.

I'll be trying to post suome updates -even if no-one is reading them till the morning ....

I've just been thrown out of the pub at midnight and am not working tomorrow, so might try to stay on-line long enough to cheer on our superstars. Funny how a few pints of Guinness encourages loud cheering in an empty house. COME ON YE BRITS!

I'm still in Australia (Canberra) - so middle of the morning for me.

Working as a research assistant for a few months having just finished my PhD, and trying to work out whats next ...

Could be tricky to follow what's going on today - as I may have to meet my supervisor ... and I just hope the intermediate isn't 1-2 mins before the finish as it's a bit of wasted information if it is.

congrats on the phd Dr Fish!

looks like the intermediate split could be someway into the course. still no news on the first runner.

i'm psyched for the north americans (women) though, they've got 2 runners in the A-final for the first tme in a while. and sam saeger was 16th in all 3 qualifiers - how unlucky is that!

intermediate looks to be about 75% of way round.

strange things going on from the intermediate to the finish
Signe Soes took less than 4 mins while most people have been taking 8'ish, either it's tricky or there are different loops - or things are strange with the timing ....

Helen just through the intermediate - lets hope she has a 4-5min last loop , then it's looking very good, but 4th quickest at the intermediate anyway, good work ...
