Well the MTBO was a good craic yesterday, had a pint bet with Stan, and took a win from him by about 3 mins, then turns out i won overall by the huge margin of 2 seconds!!
Then the park race was great fun, a top course round a top wee area, perfect for sprint racing, a bit of a maze, some forest, fast roads etc... legs were a bit heavy from the morning, but as last start there were loads of folk cheering me on as i came in, and beat Oleg by a huge margin of 1 second!! into 3rd place.
And i won a keyring!!!
Top event, good banter, good to see loads of folk, all those who missed out, unlucky. It was even lovely and sunny here all yesterday!!
back to the real world of work today, (and the 2nd test match!!)

i wouldn't start publically naming and shaming people for stuff that may/may not have happened. do you really want to get into listing some of the stupid stuff that you lot have got up to? as to what is hilarious, i'm sure shouting jobby at 2am didn't appeal to the sense of humour of some people on the campsite who were trying to sleep.

Well most of the time...not too good at drowing out the drunken sound of ShUOC/SPOOK members murdering "Wild Thing" and aruguing over what time they should stop making such a racket with people from the neighbouring quiet zone. Campsite rules etc...

Maybe we need a site for people who are too old to go on the youth site, bit still want to get pissed and behave as if they are still 17

I think the set up of this years campsite was good. I don't think you could seperate the 'youth', 'adult' & 'quiet' camps much better. It allowed all 'the kids' to be together & create noise in one place away from the main camp but was close enough to allow 'the big kids' from the main camp to join in when they wanted & have quiet for early nights when they couldn't hack the pace
. There is always going to be some noise but i think the beer tent with wilfs and entertainment was a good addition and a congrats is in order for the organisers this year for both the setup and running of the campsite.

You're suggesting taking away alcohol from everyone? Even those who drink it in moderation and are 18? Don't think that would work, specially with a highly successful bar on site.
