A sizzling, Sirloin Steak, blood oozing from it, practically still mooing, with a lovely green pepper sauce, and some potatoe gratin.
Now i expect any normal people will be salivating at the mouth.
If not, then try this
BACON BUTTIE
as for veggies, keep going, more meat for the normal folk!!

How can you say that? You've hurt his feelings. Now who's being cruel to animals?

Would that be the lamb or gross's feelings being hurt?

Hey Bruce - how's about a delicious piece of venison cooked by some very generous ladies who couldn't possibly finish it by themselves
That was good

Reduced meat diet

I'll warn your local heart surgeon to be on his/her* guard then.
This may well sound poncy, but after trying the extremes of vegan life (I volunteered on an Australian organic vegan farm for a fortnight), I have developed a meat-reduced diet. There are many reasons for eating meat or animal products, eg taste, texture, easy source of Vit B12/protein/calcium, etc (feel free to argue against these, veggies). However, there are many reasons to eat meat less often than once a day. They include:
1 Reduced methane output from cattle etc, therefore less glob warm input
2 Reduced water usage (it takes much more to raise animals than to grow veg/grains)
3 Reduced pressure on land** (in UK and abroad) (it takes many times the amt of land to keep meat-eaters alive compared with veggies) Esp imp re cattle. More forests mean more CO2 is 'soaked up' (simplistically)
4 Less likelihood of having high levels of fat in one's diet, therefore healthier (or at least I feel healthier)
5 Reduced sum of suffering in this world (except for those near a veggie farter - although meat-eaters' farts, whilst less frequent, are often worse smelling!)
6 The creation of space for more humane methods of rearing and killing animals, due to the closure of 'factory' farms. Or for (re)planting forests on.
(*Oh dear - clue that writer is wooly Guardian reader and possibly a vegetarian.)
(**Inc prime forests, that may be cut down before they are even mapped, thanks to over-zealous carnivores!)
My overall fitness plan:
Eat a balanced diet. Burn as much off as you eat.
Can I have a £1m book deal now please?
