I feel like starting a topic but frankly I haven't got any ideas.
Can anyone suggest something?
preferably something controversial
cheers

Veggies argue that eating meat uses more resources as lots more grain has to go into animals to fatten them up than if us humans eat the grain instead. Though in Britain we get round this by feeding our cows cows.
Why is it that popular veggie foods always sound like meat? (veggie burgers, chick peas ....)

exactly,
a sausage is a sausage, not a vegitarian thing, if they want veggie food, why do they have to pretend to eat meat.
they should have things like
Sprout sticks, and courgette flans, and the like!!

Guest, you are probably having a banter, but for global warming farting is a serious subject. Fart scientists have studied cows and concluded the methane from their farts are a cause of global warming. Methane is a 50 times stronger greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide apparently.
Then again cows don't eat curry.

...which goes to show that we're all doomed whether we start running around in crappy hybrid cars or not.

so that's not really very good at all then.
how do you tell how good a car is just by sitting in it by the way, do you have some mental resonance with the engine and electronics that you can tell how well they all function, or are you just very superficial?

Superficial! I’m hurt
. Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am a deep ocean of thought and mystery.
My criteria for selecting a car are pretty basic though:
a) Are the seats comfortable?
b) Is it big enough?
c) Will people point and stare?
d) Will it keep up with the traffic?
a to c were tested on the day. I admit I didn't test drive it, though I'm told Toyota's the most reliable make.

I notice that no veggies have taken the bait yet.
not that they would,
unless it was soya bait.
I expect they are so undernourished they don't have the energy.
Hey Lil' Godders - you're not a veggie are you?

I take offence that you'd even think that of me
