Oh, what a great competition.
First day, 35 degrees C, fast terrain, with near 3-4 km from the routes on the sand dunes. Second day - cool clear forest, very flat. Runnin near 5 min/km. Third day - rain, chasing finish, interesting battle in M21E, where the first 3 finished in 3 seconds (Kiril Nikolov (A.Logistic/Stora Tuna in SWE), Milko Sakarov (Academic), and Nicolay Dimitrov (A.Logistic))
Want to greet Tess for the best time in W18 she made in the last day So ... my friend said that when she came to Primorsko she bring the English rain with her hahah Check it out:
Yeah, I think you were having lovely weather days 1 and 2 and then I arrive in Varna on that evening to a thunderstorm. And its lasted all week so much for getting a sun tan!
Well done to you to Danailov. Even though it rain, I enjoyed the run, really fast though!
Tess, sorry that I didn't give you the promised beer, but I saw you only shortly after your finish, when we just smiled each-other you'll get it for sure, but maybe next time.
I hope next year there will be more participants from GB there
Danailov - do you know if the results and splits are up on the internet? i can't see them on the website. we'll have a beer at the next event! I'm hopefully off now to have a run on Vitosha, last year's course!
I've got the results & splits on my harddrive, if you want I can send them to you, but they are in Bulgarian you know Also if you run on the map from BG Cup 2004 day 3 BE CAREFUL!!! Last year in the 3rd day I'd lost 30 minutes and made good time compared to other runners, I was 2nd and the 1st beat me in the sprint finish! So ... you'll see what is the meaning of DIFFICULT MAP so ... be aware
