Congrats to all but especially to the hydro electric oldschool joykok, as well as miss m. I'm not sure how much of an "interesting selection" speake is for the relay given his recent performances tho!
Looks like a great mix of youth & experience, bring on Japan I say.

Ditto. Gutting has to about the only way to describe and even that doesn't come close.
But then prob not fair to get into discussion of individual people - I'm sure everyone who missed out was disappointed.
Sort of comes with the territory of being that dedicated to anything. If it all pays off you're on top of the world and if it goes a bit pear-shaped then it feels like the whole world's crashed in on you. You've got to admire the people that take on that risk, and who deal with the disappointment to bounce back (which I'm sure is something none of them are thinking about right now but which I'm equally sure will happen).

Congratulations to all those in the team, and commisterations to those who missed out.
Great news that Speakey is in the relay team.
The most impressive thing has to be Mhairi though, before the selection races she has only done a handfull of orienteering, and running, since she injured her ankel at O-ringen last year and again in December. Only extreme mental strength can bring a person through like that.
