Um, if I've got it right, and Tullster's post is directed at me, he read my post as suggesting that I thought Mrs H should have been ceremoniously struck off! And if he did, others may have done, so please reread it (I had also read the entire courtesy thread to try and find out w3hat had happened)
If that's how it comes across, it just proves that posts can have different significance to different people, and I'll take even more care how I word things in future . I hope the H family, who know me very well, understood the post. If not, see below.
I was having a philosophical rumination (whilst down on my fragrant farm) with the meaning of "leaving" nopesport actually was,as I'd noticed before that it appears the membership list can only grow, because there's no formal way of leaving (and even if you've "left" you're still on the members list) That was all that post was about; it really was that simple! And it was a beautiful afternoon for ruminating.
Alternatively, were you just testing the nopesport sanctions?

Thanks, even better lesson learned here! Note to self- don't be so touchy/egocentric!
Perhaps Confused would like to join me mucking out as a penace? As my mum used to say every time we drove through a smell of ripe silage "Ah! silage! good for cows"
Not going to edit out previous post, or this thread will be nonsense
Sorry Tullster!

Oh dear, I voted because I thought we were trying to send a friendly message that we would like Mrs H (who I have never met, but am missing greatly) to come back. At the time I voted I wasn't actually aware she'd formally departed. I didn't think I was judging anyone's personality or that Mrs H would feel that the vote was a public trial. I guess I got it wrong.

Hello miss! I wish to register a complaint!
I wish to complain about this cat what I purchased not half an hour ago from this very boutique...
Oh sorry. Never mind. It's only dead when I'm looking at it.

dont take life so seriously
I don't usually take life this seriously*, I was just a bit concerned that if the poll went against Mrs H, then if she was a sensitive soul

*I am committed to carnage in many walks of life - I don't normally take things seriously enough

i know i'm dealing with very learned people here but..
the schrodinger cat thing is about not knowing the state until you've looked at it. the thing of the cat changing when you looking at it (to being dead in the above case) is more the work of a certain heisenburg (re. uncertainty principle- looking at something changes it).
sorry if i'm wrong or if i've misunderstood.
Pictures are better than words because sometimes words are big and hard to understand.
