I guess the probability is that Jon will end up 16th
another good result.

nordic relay GBR came 9th.
New soldier in the team Ewan Mccarthy running last leg. Just sprinted and held off O kvaal osterbo on the line with a superb colin jackson style finish!

Leg 1. Scotia came back 6th (one minute behind pack) was with leading pack with 1km to go and went to sandvik, huovila and lund's gaffel which was wrong.
Leg 2 Jd went out 6th just ahead of the NOR2 missed on the first control but made good run after that especially on the loop after the specatator.
leg 3 ewan went out in 7th being chased by an angry pack but again missed in the beginning also having a strong last loop. came through the specator just ahead of terkelsen and kvaal osterbo. And managed to hold off osterbo in a superb sprint. True fighting spirit

2001... Men's Open... GBR 1st.... changed days thanks to lottery funding etc etc if we think 9th is a great result. (no reflection on athletes, just the polotics)

Wasn't the team back then our three top guys though by a long way? These guys are relative rookies (well, Scotia and Ewan) in this competition and for them to pull that kind of run out sounds pretty damn good to me.

Cheered up my evening anyway. But then I am facing impending doom in 2 hours.

Becks is right... 2001 was our top team... Ewan,JD & Scotia did great.... just a shame government priorities result in the non participation of a fulll GBR team in important competitions
