Sandwell Valley was my second event - an evening score, summer 1981. Long before the days of membership proposals....but I do remember the teacher who set up the O club at school being in (more than usually) grumpy mood back then about how BOF Central's proposals would ruin the sport. Plus ca change, plus c'est le meme chose...
