I agree. But is there any software which produces graphs from EMIT results?
On the Splitsbrowser website it says 'Event organisers can upload results for display on the Splitsbrowser web site from both SportIdent and Emit electronic punching systems.'
Looking at the info it is a fairly simple format that is required (the csv format they ask for) to be able to submit results.
I've now uploaded the splits to the Splitsbrowser site here. It's taken me a while for a number of reasons:
- I've been away in Sweden for about a week.
- I don't have access to the splits as CSV files, only the web pages, so I've had to write a program to convert the splits from the web pages into CSV format.
- EMIT doesn't filter out extra controls punched by a competitor. These have to be detected and removed manually. Most of the time, this isn't too tricky, but I couldn't figure out which control one of the later finishers on the Orange course shouldn't have punched, so I removed him altogether.
edit: splits for Bloom Wood also uploaded.

Thats cool, thanks Luke.
Tis good to see the results clearly, that program of yours could come in handy in the future.... until emit sort themselves out anyway.

The UK Cup and FCC races had two slightly different courses, depending on which order the butterfly loops were run.
Also, I've now added combined splits for the M/W 20/21E and M/W18L courses to Splitsbrowser.

Thats great thanks!
It's interesting that the planner thought that coming out of the spectator control going up the hill on the track to the left would be faster. On the W18 course the fastest splits on the leg to no13 were for those who just headed straight up the hill rather than those who took the less steep but longer route round.
