To have a dob on is to have a boner, a stiffy, a hard on, wood, to stand to attention, to tent, to have an erection.

It would therefore seem to follow that Dobbing would involve the deployment of a SI Card whilst in a state of dob to the ends for which it has evolved. In the same way that one would undertake ploughing with a plough or plunging with a plunger, or screw driving with a screw driver.
