Edinburgh Airport Travel

Travelling to Edinburgh for an interview in the next few weeks and was wondering if anybody knows what is the quickest (and preferably cheapest) way to get from the airport to the University King's buildings?

bus into town (return is £5 i think) and then another bus (42 or 24) from town will take you to KB. Day ticket for £2 (£2.50 before 9:30)

Another possibility for travel between London and Glasgow / Edinburgh or further are First Scot Rail Caledonian sleeper trains - see http://www.firstgroup.com/scotrail/cont ... g-page.php or phone 08457 55 00 33. Last year I paid £19 for each single trip Euston / Glasgow, which includes train fare, sleeper bed & breakfast on arrival.

Cheers for the info, looks like I might need to get a taxi as I have to get from the airport to the Kings buildings in about half an hour. DO you know how much a taxi would cost?

depends what time you fly in at, if the traffic is as bad as it has been could cost you a lot more in the taxi, and could take more than 30mins!!
