As promised I will put on a coach from the JK event centre and campsite if there is sufficient demand. I have checked the prices with those being charged for the Scottish 6 days and believe they are reasonable - bearing in mind we are talking Easter weekend so here are the details.
Cost for 3 days bus transport: Adult £15, Junior/student £10.
On saturday the bus will leave at 8 am and on Sunday/Monday 9 am, returning all 3 days 3pm (possibly earlier on Monday).
Remember a car park pass is £5 for 3 days and Brown clee is a long way away. this bus service is costing £620 total - we will not be making any money.
This will be a 49 seater luxury coach (with loo). I would have prefered something less smart (and cheaper) but this is what there is.
I am giving nopesport users an exclusive preview of this but will put it on the JK and BOF websites on Monday. It is first come first served - and by that I mean cheques in my hand - if you want a seat pm me ASAP - if you have any questions ask them in this thread.

more from Mrs H..
Hot news :
The 825 Stafford - Rugeley - Lichfield - Tamworth is the bus service which travels past the Rugby Club. It will depart Lichfield Bus Station which, is opposite Lichfield City Railway Station. The service is run by Arriva Midlands Red North. As timetables change from time to time please ring 0870 608 2608 or Staffordshire County Council passenger transport on 01785 276739 for up to date informaion for the Easter period.
As Lichfield is on a direct line from Birmingham New Street this means it is quite possible to do this year's Jk without any private transport
I already have 3 well known nopers signed up - do you really want to miss this opportunity?

Mrs H. wrote:Just to let you know I am confirming the unofficial bus service for the JK - i have at present 15 definite takers and a few possibles - i am arranging for the use of 1 possibly 2 community mini-buses for which i will need drivers. anyone who passed their driving test before the mid 1990s will be qualified to drive - check out section D1 on you licence - but obviously anyone who has something like a school minibus test under their belt would be top choice. Drivers will of course get free transport and helpers' perks - If anyone else thinks they want to use this bus service - please let me know asap

Mrs H. wrote:IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Due to extremely generous sponsorship from Ultrasport and CompassPoint - our all year round suppliers - I am now able to lay on 2 mini buses from the event camp site to each day's event and also reduce the cost of the tickets.
The cost will be £12.50 per adult and £7.50 per junior/student (proof may be required). This represents exceptional value.
ONE MINI BUS IS ALREADY FULL! Please pm me immediately if you want a seat. I will get in touch with those who have already signed up to arrange payment details
NB this is not official JK transport and elites are advised to make their own contingency plans if contemplating travelling on the bus (the rest of you just stick your thumbs out if it breaks down!)
