I'd like to have a page online where the juniors I coach can fill in their week's training, compare it to the others in our little group, and that I can fill mine into too so that they know that I'm working hard aswell. Something along the lines of the little BOF training diary that they could fill in either daily or weekly would be great. If it drew little graphs and things that would be even better (though I could do that myself on excel)!
I wondered if one of you IT minded people out there is capable of designing this for me and bunging it on a free web page? I obviously can't afford to pay much but if you'd like a project for your spare time I could offer you 20 quid or so for the results. I'm absolutely clueless in this kind of stuff.

Re: Project for an IT Bod
Actually answering the question...
A simple solution would be to use one of the free blogging sites (Livejournal.com springs to mind - since this site allows for the option of restricting the people who can read the posts), as a place where each could have a blog and every so often post an update of there training since the last update. Then you can fairly easily look at what they are doing. It would, however, not offer the extra functionality you may be looking for (i.e. the graphing of info posted).

i could probably do it if you want. I'm a bit busy at the moment, 'cos my computer keeps goin a bit tits up, but it shouldnt be too difficult. all you would need is a free web host that offers a cgi bin, (tripod does, but i think you get a lot of ads on it), and a cgi script. there are a lot of pre written ones out there. it shouldnt take me too long to configure one for you....in theory.
i cant make any garuntees tho, cos i only really know sort of basic cgi coding, but i do have some idea about it and i could have a crack at it!

Try looking at the "Training" button under the P in the Nopesport logo. It might save you the bother. It's not perfect, but Pyrat's working on it if we feed him enough wagon wheels
