CUOC have booked Coniston Coppermines for their training tour from 5th-9th December. There are 10 spare beds in the YH available if anyone is interested in joining CUOC there (you'd have to sort out your own transport to the Lakes, plus to the areas). We are planning to train on areas including Tarn Hows, Holme Fell and Great Tower Wood, and maps would also be available for anyone joining us.
If you would like to join CUOC for all or part of the time, PM me or post here and I'll pass on your message to the training tour organiser.

I'm going to be in the Lakes that week (but won't need accomodation) - probably interested in joining in Monday, Tuesday and maybe Thursday, depending on what the areas are on those days... and if anyone can offer a lift up to the lakes from the WCH colour coded (YBT final) on the Sunday then that would be just perfect!

WCOC have a night event on High Rigg on the Thursday (9th) if you are interested. But email rogersjackson@msn.com so maps can be overprinted. Parking will probably be at the church.
