This was emailed to me from Warwick Athletics and Cross-Country Club - it's open to any team, not just from uni etc:
The Athletics club offer you the chance on Saturday 20th November to come along and prove that you are the fittest sports team at University of Warwick. We are hosting cross-country relays at Cryfield pavilion; all you need to do is organise and enter a team! There will be a trophy for the first university team (excluding the running squad) as well as a prize for the best fancy dress if you’re feeling a little more adventurous… You’ll also have the support of the Warwick cheerleaders shouting you on to the finish line. Below you can find all the information you need to take part:
RACE TIME
Men and Mixed - 2.00pm (4 x 2 miles)
Women – 2.05pm (3 x 2 miles)
PRIZES
Men’s, women’s and mixed (1, 2, 3)
1st Warwick University team
Fastest leg (1, 2, 3)
Best fancy dress
PRICE
The race costs £3 per person in the team, with entries before the 17th of November receiving a £2 reduction off the total charge.
ENTRY
Entry forms can be downloaded from our website http://www.warwickathletics.com
We’ll also have a stall in Cholo on Tuesday 16th of November, from 11am – 3pm so that you can pre-enter or find out more. If you haven’t made up your mind by then, you can always enter on the day!

Please email athletics@sunion.warwick.ac.uk
We hope to see as many sports clubs participating as possible. It’s a great way to get fit and have fun at the same time

Alternatively, if you're in (or can beg steal or borrow to get to) Edinburgh and fancy a wee trot, why not try a bit of Braid Hills XC action?
