Race numbers

Where do people go to get race numbers in this country? All the ones I can find online are US vendors. We're looking at ones we can put a sponsors name on (so they'll pay, hopefully ) and I could do with a quote of price.

Easyway for small run numbers is to print on a colour laser on A5... put into a polybag... perfect for orienteering:)

ask the cross country club or look in any running magazine for adverts. off the top of my head running imp used to do them.

Not when your event if a week before your finals it isn't!

Running Imp seem to be only doing numbers officially as part of a general admin package - any more ideas?

I should be able to find out a good place for numbers for you, just have to wait for off peak to arrive, so I can call home on free minutes! Watch this space Becks

Place called 'Stacys' or something in London. They'll do cardboard number pretty quickly & also produce tyvek numbers........ I have the actual details in a box somewhere and will dig them out if you don't get any success in the next week or so.......

try any print company. if u take them a sample one from an old race they will do it for you within a day or 2.

We have used Winning Ways for the White Rose for the last few years and they have been very good & helpful.

Get everyone to bring a bib of their own. Most of my o tops and my xc top have a number attached to them still from a previous race, and some sad gits keep 'lucky bibs', which I'm sure they'd be delighted to run in for a second time.

but what happens when two people come with the same number? i suppose if it was well organised you could summit the number you wanted to use and be accepted or rejected. probably less work to get some made though. also no use for spectators/commentators if you want a seeded start order and everyone has random numbers on!
