OK, I'm bored. Just found out that I've wasted two months (!?) getting parts made for a machine which is not suitable for the task I have to do. So, reading through the papers, I see that a Scottish restaurant has (finally) opened in Göteborg. According to the bumph (http://www.gp.se/gp/jsp/Crosslink.jsp?d=242&a=186158), it has a waterfall, a whisky cupboard and a bar, lamb and shortbread on the menu and it's called "Highlands". Hmmm, I detect a stereotype here. I wonder if the staff wear kilts and begin every reply to a question with "Och, aye" or "Nae borra" or even a nasal " 'rite min"
If you were the main man / wifie of this establishment what would you put on the menu (snae badger is a first thought) and how would you persuade folk to eat it?
How do you explain what haggis really is? Or rather the pseudo haggis that you get these days.
Is it big enough for a ceilidh and dancing?
What are the chances of it being there in the summer?
Why didn't I take the chance when someone suggested it to me a couple of years ago?
What would a similarly themed English / Taffie restaurant be like?
