well, if god created all the creatures, might it cudda been a little disrespectful to eat them? maybe.
ah well, i think its definitly preferance, most veggies dont have problems with people eating meat, i know i don't.

I think its fine to eat meat in principle. (I do!) However, there are strong arguments about many modern farming practices. Aside from the meat theme, Fairtrade is another issue worth thinking about.

Modern farming practices? More like consumers trying to have their cake and eat it to. Modern farming methods are what they are because consumers constant demand for cheaper food.

I am a vegeterian, simply because a little knowledge of energy transfer says it is grossly inefficient and therefore more sensible to eat the plant than feed the plants to animals and eat the animal. Plus animal rearing in the intensive way it is done nowadays is damaging to the environment in soooo many other ways, pollution, overgrazing, tree felling. Feelings for animals never really came into it
