The balance between the two can vary depending on the planner, but it's a true test of all-round ability: the winner is usually pretty good at both

Winners that I can remember seeing in action include Robin Marston, Mark Chapman, Ed Nash, Tom Norton, Neil Northrop and defending champion Matt Crane.

Just a reminder from the organiser to get your entries in...
Lots of people have said they're coming but it'll make Ben's life easier if he has an idea of numbers.
Cheers,

Anyone know how easy it is to get from the 'burgh to Glasgow Prestwick? Ryanair's got flights Prestwick to Stansted for 17p on the Friday night/Saturday morning, and a similar price on the way back on Sunday lunchtime.
It's a magical world. Let's go exploring.

easy enough at those times of day, half price train travel too. only real prestwick problem is getting home from the late night scandy flights.
tis however the weekend of both braids and a seds weekend.

If any Unis are thinking of coming from further away (eg Scotland!! you know you want to!) and would like to come on Friday, get in touch with Ben and he can arrange some Friday night floor-space too (though you'd have to be nice to him and email not right after the closing date!
)
Looking forward to seeing lots of people in Cambridge for the SprintO!!

Am considering entering the elite AlcO this year (though may have to enlist the help of fellow female drinker. due to volume issues....I'm sure there should be a separate competition for women...
) so be warned you luckless people who end up sleeping on my floor...

I'm not lost, I just don't know my precise location in the environment...
