Live from the finish line, Airienteers have finished in first place. They overtook Deeside on the third leg and retained first place to win by a significant margin. Deeside finished second and Andy Llewellyn pulled up several places on the last leg to bring NOC home in third place. Well done to all!

Great job Andy! Reminiscent of the NOC/WCH battles of days gone by. Those 5am orange courses vs Stephen Keeley/Little Rob/Frank Murray.
Someone told me AIRE were going to win, isn't Deeside a bit of a surprise tho?
Anyway who won the 5 a side?

Five a side was won by MDOC who also took the Jan George trophyt home. It was also agreed that they had the best football support team.
All in all it was a great event with a fanstastic atmoshere and thhose clubs who didnt manage to get a team out missed out.

Well done to AIRE, no-one could even get close to them. The football was marred by controversy though after the final was decided on goals scored...fair dos though because the best team obviously won, and it was all down to our loyal fans

Andy llewellyn went out in 3rd place...he didn't catch any up! He did get the fastest leg 6 time and well done to him for that but he didn't catch any places.

Sorry Bedders, that was my misinformation, not my mum's, that said that! I just assumed Andy had pulled up again seeing as the last time I saw NOC they were well down, and the commentary was too rubbish to tell me otherwise! Sorry Peter B!
Good commentary is not (quality) music with some crazed girl reading out team numbers...at least try and guess the club from the kit they're wearing!
The only problem with a wonderful weekend - a fantabulous well done to both my lot and it was great to see so many teams out there competing.

Something to laugh about, two COBOC lads join a HOC non-competitive team with me as the Wrekin Bug and they beat the main COBOC team by 6 places
with me finishing in 21th and the main COBOC team finishing 27th.
Well done Dan hartman 4 a beast of a run on the second leg for the Red HOC Chilli Peppers
Just looked at the spilts am I managed to get the second fastest time going from my No. 1 to No.2 on the light green , sadly i was betten by Treb(aka Robert Gardner)

Provisional results are now available at http://www.oaklodgeservices.co.uk/peter ... esults.htm
Comments, etc. will appear on COBOC web site in due course.
Edits have been applied to the results to take account of the mass starts, as the software does not support the multiple mass starts we had.
If anyone spots any errors please let me know.
Additional yellow course runners will be added soon, as will a link to winsplits (upload failed today and support has been requested from Mats Troeng).

Bedders U managed to win the sprint finish but only as a joint overall winner with Simon O'Meare from HOC.
They both posted a very respectable time of 27 seconds. Well Done
