its not just about the race. go for the laugh. you'll be able to pick up a run somewhere or other anyway. if its like any other big scandi relay i've been to theres always a team looking for a random runner...

There are free flights available to Vasteras and I think the train out there is about 15 quid...so that might be worth it if they carry on increasing.

the airport bus to stockholm central from västerås is the same price as the one from skavsta (180kr return) and takes about the same length of time. skavsta is 100km south of stockholm.
i know the event is at rudan, haninge, just south of stockholm but i was assuming you're all staying at the Rav club hut, didn't Nick sort this? so if the västerås flights are cheaper it's definitely worth getting them. but they don't go from prestwick of course, for the scottish lot.
