and then a whole bunch of more obscure stuff that i wont go into.
How on earth do you remember all this stuff? You can only have been about 4 at the time! You're doing a good job of taking me back to my long-lost youth though.
Isn't Anything was way better than Loveless though (it was before 1990, however).
Has anyone mentioned the Jesus & Mary Chain yet?

gomez 3rd album was awfully boring.
as for the jesus and mary chain, i thought about it, but im pretty ure all their good stuff came out pre 1990. if im wrong then add psychocandy to the list.

Psychocandy was mid-80s, but the 3rd and 4th albums were 1990s and were still pretty good. I remember seeing them at the SECC around 1991, supported by Blur (crap), MBV (great) and Dinosaur Jr (not bad) and they were definitely the best of the lot.
What abuot Underworld? Too dance-y?

kula shaker seemed to be promising when they were all sharp suits and grateful when your dead. then the indian jobby came in and it fell apart.

ok smasonite, i agree in our gun was slightly poo, i intended abandoned shoppoing trolly as third album just cause thats the order they came out in. and i agree kula shaker did go bad, but for one song on a cmpilation cd, i think it coud work.
i am still aspiring to be becks' understudy, so i agree that you are the ultimate music fascist.

I'm not impressed on this claim of overal music fascism! Ask any of the lot on my tour, I can get pretty good....especially when it comes to Keane. In fact, my first words to my boyfriend were "Pearl Jam?! For crying out loud."
How would one start a music fascism duel I wonder?

a music duel sounds fun. i will win though.
and im not sure that pearl jam are too bad, they have a couple of really amazin songs in amongst the tedium, especially off ten and versus
