the fact u r all away on holiday and running in nice forests abroad is bad enough for us at home to bear.
what makes it worse is that this place has gone all quiet.
i need something to get me through a working day.
so come one. get the banter gone, inspire me, make me chuckle, make me think that everything is dandy.
i anticipate a low turnout for replies tot his, but i can live in hope
this is dull

no banter to be had
can't provide much banter i'm afraid. ran for 2 hours with my friend Daina this morning who also happens to be EM silver medalist! last night our trainer gevert bergmann took us out for a celebratory meal. the last beer was 30% of the bill apparently. i had 2 very very high quality belgian beers. crazy stuff. actually one and a half, gevert had to help me with the second one.
this evening i will run 2 laps of a nearby lake and then jump in and swim across it a couple of times. again, crazy stuff.
but tomorrow after morning training i will hop on a train to join the party down in göteborg. i am planning to run dirket anmälen but maybe there will be some hungover brits who can't be arsed to run and i can take their entries. ah but tom fry, matt palmer and james hargreaves aren't going to be there.. so many multidays where they haven't left the campsite spring to mind.
it's really sunny here but i have to stay in the shade because last week i was training too much on a little island out in the archipeligo running intervals round and round and round and i didn't have enough water so i got some kind of heat illness. so i'm being all sensible now plus you know, sun causes premature skin aging.
anyway i have no banter. sorry.

for a bit of randomness you could try this:
http://www.geocities.com/world_of_rot
my sandwich today could have featured in this - suddenly it stopped tasting so good when I saw the blue fur on the bottom side of it... I knew I should have thrown the week-old bread out but it looked fine last night.
some more (completely unrelated) randomness:

Yes Trebor. Those of us stuck in the UK really, really want to be reminded every thirty seconds that we are not at the event with the rest of you.

Some of us would also like out bosses to give us less work to do.

I tried doing that "plank" exercise to improve my core stability last night. (see Core stability thread on Discussion forum). Just before I went to bed. In the buff. Mrs Wife walks in and asks "What are you doing??, trying to balance on your [nope]!?

Apparently, all this bad weather we've had is the fault of the Swedish. It's because it rained on 15th July, which is according to PFB Jnr is "St. Sweden's Day"

right well if nyone else is interested, i have been mostly filling my days with "research" at http://www.designiskinky.net
no its not porn, its a portal to some of the best art/design/clothes/web stuff around.
its real nice
off to see farenheit 9/11 tomorrow
anyone who is bored at home i cannot stress this enough, get lost in translation on dvd and watch it, over and over agin. its incredible.
i am also filling as much of my day as possible with the nopesport.com upgrade/redesign. its going to be massive.

mmm
am i wrong to want a pair of jordan 1s?
crazy. im also working out the tracklistings for the next nonimage mixtapes. its going to be banned. cant decide which to do first - t in the park highlights, songs from my youth, or my top 20 of all time. or just a mix of new stuff, since for once there is loads of good stuff coming out. anyone into dance music of any form should check out mylo - destroy rock and roll. like daft punk if they came from skye and hadnt turned into artsy fartsy parisian gimps like the rest of their peers.
and buy razorlights album its good, in a sort of libertines without the horrible parts kinda way.
has anyone else felt depressed by that godawful remix of lou reed's satellite? i have to listen to forth one every day and imgoing to have to break the radio. its really bad.
i am mostly listening to the new modest mouse album as much as possible, cos its amazin. go get it kids. and the 5678s, although anyone caught singing that tune of the ad in my presence will be dealt with. at t in the park it was the new "chamone" with th ned community. very annoying.
im also clearing out my laptop to provide space for the oringen footage that pyrat is in the middle of filming. should be good. expect a short overview clip soon.
tonight i shall finish painting my new bedroom. honest. better make some room for eddie to move into my old room.
tara fer now
