It is now 7pm on Day 2. No sign of any results, yet again. The elites will need to know their start times for tomorrow this evening as their Starts depend on their Day 2 results. Hopefully these will appear tonight. No doubt the rest of us will have to wait.

The on the day paper results display was pretty hopeless too. Too many results too close together, and out of order, as well as out of date. People spent much longer than needed at the results as it was difficult to find your course and also to read it when you did. Use of Emit and the associated results system has really let down a good event.

Fingers crossed we get tomorrow's start times soon - it's difficult to work them out for yourself without knowing whether they'll be counting forward from 09:45 or counting backwards from 14:00.

Oh dear. The slowest person on White is predicted to finish tomorrow morning when they will have taken over 24 hours to complete their course.

Four minutes for a 2.2km Yellow course is pretty special as well.

Routegadget for Day 1 and Day 2 now available.

These are locked so you cannot draw a route, since we know there are still problems with the results, but at least you can see the courses and most of the splits.

I'll unlock them when we get finalised results.

Surely this cant be the first big event emit has supported. Whats gone wrong?

I've put the elite start times into a more readable pdf here.

The JK Long is round 11 of the UK Elite Orienteering League ahead of the final at the British Championships in two weeks time.

Current standings are on the website and leaders will be changing every day through the JK. We'll wait until after the weekend to update the scores.

All the action can be kept up with on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook: hourly updates on Twitter, daily updates on Facebook, variable updates on Instagram.

Before we distribute SILVA bags to series winners we want to close the gap on our cash prize fund. There is currently a £120 deficit on the £500 target which we would like to exceed of course. Monies will be awarded following the final, before competitors embark on summer internationals.

There also seem to be some issues with the Temp-O Standard Class results - number of incorrect controls doesn't look right for my own and a few others I checked.

I've been working on this and found the bug (not adding in the 7th station) (and also fixed the colours). New sheets will be uploaded as soon as we have done another check. We wanted to get results up faster than last year, so didn't get as much checking done.
