Yeah she sliced through the field. Just show though what strength in depth the swedes and Swiss have. Neither has the fastest male or female in their team but they have very strong quartets.

The pictures show messy, low visibility forest with some steep slopes lots of opportunities to miss controls.
it might suit Cat , very similar to some White Rose terrain.

Looks like Tove Alexanderson is having a nightmare run, misses at 1 and 2 and now seems to have missed out 3 and gone past 4.
Hauswirth on the other hand has been very clean so far as has Gemperle who is a bit faster so far.
Tove Alexandersen is completely in the mire, looping about to the East of control 4 , not sure if she got3 either, when it goes wrong it really goes wrong, painful to watch, reminds me of me.

The area is knwn as little Switzerland... there's a bobsleigh track on the Sigulda side of the river (from the Sarajevo Winter Games) and the public road from Sigulda across the river to Touraida is the steepest in the Baltics
Lots of slalom ski slopes up & down the valley

Sigulda is also famous for walking sticks There's a park o the left just before you go down the big hill that is dedicated to walking sticks.

Live feed keeps seizing up and I have to reload, very frustrating,
Possibly Alexandersson couls do with a walking stick, a classic mare of a run.

Tove looks as though she's calling it a day after going walkabout again at 7. No just a 500m relocating loop. What a sport!

What will the men need to do to earn promotion (from 2 to 3 runners)? Who are their rivals? Anyone got a handle on that?
