For anyone needing to brush up on their sprint techniques, SYO is running the prologue and final YHOA sprint champs on Sunday 5th June. It is about 5 minutes from M1 junction 34, with courses planned by Tim Tett. Pre-entry via Fabian4; only £7 for senior members until Wednesday evening, £8 after that.

For a Level A event there seems to be very little information available (unless my search techniques are rubbish). I'm trying to find out the course and map details (scale in particular). Anyone know where the flyer/final details are?

I'm not entering myself but SOC is putting on a Level D event at IBM Hursley near Winchester on 4th June which some might see as an ideal warm-up for the sprints, especially if the map scales match.

Course lengths will be in accordance with the required winning times (+/-)
of 12 to 15 minutes. The map scales will be 1:4000 for all courses on both the
Heats and the Finals.

Final Details/Program are due out after the Bank Holiday Monday(and after approval
from the LLDA) There will be a link from the British Sprints 2016 web page, which
can be found off the BO home page (think "Events" and "British Championships" etc.)

First start 10.25, and looks like will be at 30 second intervals. Assembly / start 1.2km walk from Stratford transport hub.

Based on various e-mails/conversations that I've had in the last 24 hours nooomember is not the only person confused by the fact that multiple people in the same class have the same start time. The fact that there are actually three parallel courses for each course in the heats clearly isn't widely known.

There will indeed be multiple heats with 1 minute intervals.

I'm awaiting the final details for the website, however in an area such as this I guess there are a lots of moving parts (and approvals, with multiple landowners) and it's taking a little longer. It sounds like a few more days are needed for this.

Hopefully all the hard work going on behind the scenes pays off and gives us an exciting day of racing.
