I am finally getting round to gradually introducing some orienteering into the school I teach at - but with funding inevitably tight, if anyone knows of any flags/punches that are no longer needed and are sat in a cupboard/box unused I'd love to hear from you!
Please get in touch with me by private message (or any form of contact you know for me or my dad/sister!) if you think you can help!

Re: School kit sought
Not a short term solution, but longer term, if the school collects sainsburys active school kids vouchers (which usually starts in January I think) they usually have O banners and pin punches in their catalogue.

Re: School kit sought
Hi both - thank you for your ideas! I'm going to add them to my list of ideas to explore further!! Starting small but hoping getting linked into the World Orienteering Day World Record attempt (if we can) might get us off to a good start!
Thanks once again

Where are you located Lucy? Your profile says Chelmsford, is that still correct? I work in a school close to Chelmsford and have recently been in touch with the local orienteering club for some support in mapping the school site etc.

Suggest you reach out to your local development person within the BOF structure. Sounds a prime example for set-up funding grants. Also the council sports development councils have similar funds also. Good luck.

Thanks for the various replies about offers and suggestions...all suggestions noted! Looking quite hopeful to get off the ground with this and some initial orienteering especially with the World O Day in May so much appreciated!
