Is this the oldest surviving set of online O results in the UK? Can anyone beat that?

Cheating a bit,
but I am guessing that some results here going back to the early 1980s were online at the time of the event.

A finally proof that elite orienteering is the area that is growing while the rest are in decline.
I demand that BOF take this new information and change it's targets and policies to reflect this previously unknown statistic.
Out with urban and sprint.... bring back classic orienteering....the only growth area (as per statistic provided by JT Consulting)

Go orienteering in Lithuania......... best in the world:)

Re: Bored with orienteering
The Black List is rather intriguing. One of the miscreants must have been subsequently removed from it judging by the number of British Championships he's subsequently won.
It's a shock to see who'd been black listed.
We didn't realise it existed.
Of both of the twins,
One habitually wins
In spite of what BOF have insisted.

Boared with orienteering
Anyone can lob up a photocopied pdf
Here's a long-O result from 490BC.
In terms of "html posted on the web and still there", here are some chasing sprint results 1997
1998
Back on topic, note the "bored with orienteering" quote from Simon Bourne in the 1997 results, and arnold's 1 place improvement over the year.

I can find no information on the 2015 chasing sprint .
Is that what Arnold was getting at?

And here is an HH Ashridge Badge Event from 1996 http://www.happyherts.org.uk/uploads/results/1996/ashridge_08_12_96.htm. There are also a number of other sets of results from the 90s in the results archive.

Re: Bored with orienteering
Great to browse these old results. Some club committees have decided over the years to take their old online results offline; please don't. We don't have paper copies like we used to, so we rely on them being kept available online.

Re: Bored with orienteering
There's a reasonable chance that half the current orienteering clubs won't be around in 25 years time. When a club folds or merges I imagine maintaining the old results from a soon to be turned off website is unlikely to happen. I googled disbanded clubs CROC and MEROC and couldn't find any results.
It would be nice if BO could hold (selected) PDF's of club results from before the days when results could be loaded into the BO results system? Or can that be done now.
