The map for the model event suggests that The Republic of Korea is going to provide tough orienteering with some interesting features on the map.

No GBR are not a member of CISM, historically - reportedly - for financial and political reasons.

Lithuania usually perform very well in WMOC.
I did a training camp once for the Finnish team and it wasn't that far off the full national squad.
WMOC tends to attract quite a few nations who wouldn't normally appear in 'mainstream' orienteering.

Only financial according to the RAF Sports Board when I asked the question a few years back. RAFO are currently in Poland at the NATO Air Force Champs as we managed to get orienteering to replace x-country running every other year in that event and it had the added bonus that the fastest Gendarme in the world isn't eligible....
