The summer of sport continues with the beginning of THE cycling race. Le Tour de France.
Can Armstrong break the record and win again?
Who else is taking EPO?
Can petacci get the green jersey?
Will Cipolinni run riot one last time?
Will there be many crazy crashes on the downhill descents?
These are they questions im asking myself. What are your answers?

itv2
Its being shown on itv2 apparently. Need to source an old on digital box from someone that doesnt need it anymore. itv2 is on freeview.
Robbie McEwan got the stage victory today. Cipollini got tenth, Petacci nowhere to be seen, even after his mates helped drove the peloton for most of the stage!

Can I take it that the tour de france web site is a little more to do with riding than cycling ?
Ya hooooey.
ITV2 7pm - 8pm every weekday night, 4:30 on the weekends
Also looks like they're showing the program at 1 am in the morning on ITV1, so vid it and catch up over breakfast.

getting back to your point about who will win the tour pyrat - lance armstrong maybe but he won't have it all his own way as ullrich is possibly more hungry and his ex team mate tyler hamilton will be able to predict his moves
aye it's a close yin

I think Armstrong will get it very tight to win it again. And I’d like to see Ullrich get his 2nd tour at last.
Petacchi has the same problem as Cipollini in the points – he can’t hack the hills at all. So, it’ll be one of the aussies or Hushovd the Norwegian in green, with Hondo the dark horse.
The mountains jersey will be interesting as they’ve changed the points system this year (double for summit finishes), so it could end up being one of the overall favourites that wins it – maybe Mayo.
As for EPO – who the hell knows? The fact is that drugs have been a part of cycling for years, but when any pro-cyclist says a word they get the cold shoulder by everyone else, which is disasterous if you’re making your living from the sport. Even someone like Armstrong, who undoubtedly deserves great respect, has done things that raise suspicions. And it seems there are some things that many cyclists think you shouldn’t question, including him.
