Last year's organisers ran into problems with accommodating the entry into a five course structure and recommended changes as a result. This year's organisers anticipate an entry large enough to require an eight course structure instead and this is now published on the event website. This change should not cause problems to anyone who entered before the new structure was published but will allow the day to be more streamlined than before.
Aldershot Barracks is a new and very extensive area for Sprint orienteering and is big enough to hold both Qualification and Finals races without any overlap. The planning team includes one of the World's best Sprint orienteers, so you can be sure of high quality courses. And, in common with the Middle Championships next day, Touch Free punching is being used.
Should be a brilliant weekend overall
