bto SOUL series 2014
Looks cool and overcast this morning with the likelihood of rain for the inaugural Glasgow City Race today. 149 pre-entries. The majority of those travelling up from England seem to be in the supervet categories. Hope its an enjoyable trip for you!

And there are a minority of us younger than supervet, too!

Lovely sunny morning in Stirling. Looking forward to it...

And good fun it was too. Enjoyed course 2, even though it seems I made a bad choice on the early long leg route choice. Thanks STAG!

Re: SOUL/NUL 4 - Glasgow
and thanks to you and Lesley for making the trip!
Really enjoyed by (Mvet) course and nice to finally get a bit of a home advantage over those cheeky Edinburghers!
Apologies on behalf of the team for the slight delay to starts. Busy day in Glasgow with the women's 10k, Celtic playing and collecting the league trophy just across the road and an orange walk too. On top of that a wee problem with a control in the park last minute kept Terry on his toes!
Hopefully the banter from the locals at control 1 on some courses didnt spoil anyone's day too much. I gather some of it was a bit coarse (although in Gerry's case I believe it was justified!).
Resultswise hopefully these will be out later on tonight although SIman is busy elsewhere today so please be patient. Last I looked Rocky and Tess were leading the open courses which if confirmed will give them both perfect 4 out of 4 scores with 4 to go. Its nice to get such good support for these races from our elites, although I reckon Rocky just comes to look at his picture on our banner

Thanks Robin - a hint of Eurovision with "NUL" points probably being not too far from the truth.
