GG small miss at 11. The pack has caught up. Big fight for 5th place. Very exciting.

Re: World Champs
I wasn't watching the GPS that closely but it seems like GG was the only guy willing to try and interrupt the pack and do something different on that leg..,it was a valiant effort and a good result!
Will? We've got proper fire now!

Re: World Champs
Good sprint by GG to hold off Merl for 7th in the end. Interesting that live results has them down as 7th equal but GG definitely had him by a second or two.

Re: World Champs
Interesting that two of last year's top three in Finland (Russia 1 and Ukraine 3) finished 13 and 11 this year. Sweden (2nd) last year won. Did Russia and Ukraine get some sort of "home" advantage from the Finnish terrain last year? Good solid results from both relay teams this year. Hopefully bodes well for 2015.

Re: World Champs
I'm afraid UKR and RUS were too busy having their own private battle.
Good run by that Crimean chappie on the last leg though.

Surely you mean all 3 relay teams?
Certainly it does look good for next year (assuming GB still exists in it's present form). Well done to all the GBR team

The average age of Italian planners at WOC I estimate to be late 20s. The spectator race planners vary from 22 to 60 something.
