From the GPS it looks like Thierry went straight from 5 to 7 and missed 6 completely

Just spoke to Claire - she sounded tired but satisfied with her run.
She had a steady start and took the safe path routes to 3 and 4 and was caught 90 secs by Bestogoveld who was having a flier early - they had a cat and mouse race for much of the course - they both took the trenches route to 9 when perhaps the nothern route might have been quicker, and a small miss on the slopes by Claire let the Norwegian get ahead before the arena run through. Claire caught her again the tricky 12 and 13 and took the lower route on the long 14 - gaining 20 seconds but they both missed in the control circle and the Norwegian again took the lead and held it to the finish.
So perhaps 3 minutes lost on routes and small misses but overall a great run and just amazing for a working mum with only a few days to get into the terrain. Nice one Housewife!

Just got in, great results from Hector and Claire. Some of the best GB results ever at middle. I expect Claire will be even better next year when she's Bilstam's age...
Though it does seem a certain M35 had a bit of a senior moment today.
