It looks like Scott only has three World Ranking scores, and so has been treated as though he is unranked, and got a very early start.

What appears to have happened is they identified former and potential medallists (like Scott) whose WR score is stupidly low, and tried to fix the list so they were in the TV slot. This isn't allowed in the rules, so it got protested and reversed. Scott and others will learn they need to go to WREs. Unless of course, they're Group C women, who would be better off (start later) if they had a worse ranking score.

I did try to tell them (and not just via nopesport).

Just spoken to Housewife and all sounds relaxed in the GB hotel. Apparently Scott always expected an early start - and they don't expect much undergrowth. Sounds like Cat is cool about the draw, and Housewife hasn't even looked at the start list as she's focusing on her race.

My money is on Scotia to overcome the early field and claim the much coveted Commonwealth Gold (and podium in the rest of the world champs) to add to his Commonwealth Bronze from the sprint .

In fact with a Commonwealth 1-2-3 from the Men's Sprint, Commonwealth Gold from the Women's Sprint and the Mixed Sprint Commonwealth Gold, our lads/lasses are doing rather well so far.

That looked like an ineligible combination of three Commonwealth Nations to me.

Womens Sprint: England (Tessa)
Relay: Australia

Leading Nations: Australia, Scotland, 1 gold, 1 bronze.

Graeme - Meat Market has very clearly shown the 'sharing is caring' rules that are being applied as part of his Commonwealth Championships spreadsheet and the subsquent division of points. Clearly in the title of the race 'Mixed Sprint Relay' it shows what team composition can be.

Scott is out there and on the GPS tracking, going to be tough from an early start but hopefully he can set the target for the rest!

Swedish TV and IOF live stream seem to suggest it starts in about an hour which is after all the women have started.
