I'll add my praise for the clearer Pwll Du map: well done indeed. Other welcome improvements that I noticed compared to last year were:
* names on bibs, preventing people from collecting the wrong one
* bibs grouped and ordered by name, simplifying collection
* a punching start for the sprint to cope with travel disruption (that really saved my good humour on Friday)
* not having to spend 5 hours at the start each day, in freezing temperatures!

There would appear to be a bit of an anomoly in the posting of the Day 3 results
to the BO ranking system.

The Day 3 results do not appear on the "Results" list at all.
The Ranking points appear to have been allocated for the combined
results of both Day2 and Day3, as per the UKOL points allocations

Or am I missing something

I agree that Day 3 data are missing but I'm not sure about points being allocated for the combined times ... I will investigate.

I hope it is separate days as I really messed up Day 3 after a great Day 2

I can't see the Day 3 results either - but the ranking points have been allocated separately - e.g. Tim Tett has scores of 1299 and 1309 respectively for Days 2 & 3

Edit - seems they put up points for day 2 and then combined points....

Day 3 results are now on the BOF site and have ranking points.

The combined results should not have ranking points, but I can't untick the relevant box from my login. I've let the co-ordinator know...

I don't know about other classes, but ranking points in M55 seem to be down a fair bit compared to last year. I've certainly been finding it a lot harder to score points this year, in spite of running as well or better.

One minor point though, can BOF buy a (new?) set of podiums, the home made ones with numbers stuck on look a bit, home made, probably not what you want at the bottom of pictures that could be sent to press, potential sponsors etc.

I too have detected a significant downward swing since the New Year. I have seen similar at th estart of the last few years, but cannot see any reason why it should be related to the calendar year.
Perhaps the weekly "recalculate everything" fudge is no longer having the same effect, or is now generating an unfortunate by-product ?

Just as well there aren't points for Monday; I let my team-mates down somewhat.
