JK start times
...have been posted, and I've just realised I was being rather naive in assuming there would be a basic presumption of fairness - i.e. balanced start times - apparently not

Re: JK start times
I believe that you could put a preference down for each day of the event. I made no preference for either Day 2 or Day 3, and do appear to have 'balanced' start times - day 2 is late and day 3 is early.
I certainly prefer the multi day events where each club is assigned a start block - much more sociable too.

Re: JK start times
there haven't been balanced start times at the JK for years, I had 10.01 and 10.02 or something a few years ago.

Re: JK start times
I don, t see any reason why balanced start times are not the rule. Choose which day you a specific time block then take a balance on the other day.
however as I know all the top challengers choose late or probably very late on both days I chose late on both days.
nonetheless I have been given 10.47 on day 1
doea that mean that fewer than 47 people didn, t choose late or very late?

Re: JK start times
I asked for late on Day 2 and only 3 people start after me, so I guess I have got what I asked for - hope they won't have packed up by the time I finish!
Day 1 (sprint) M18 times are still TBC, anyone know when they will be published?

Eddie, your start for day 1 is 13:10 and for day 2 it's 10:47
(the days got renumbered in 2008 to make the Sprint Day 1)
Mind you, my Day2 start is earlier than yours and I thought I had asked for a late
start as well.

Maybe everyone asked for late or very late.

Looks like none of the elite courses (M18, M20, M21) have been given times yet as they are seeded (for day one there was only M18E and no non-elite).
Would like to know soon as helping on TrailO at Swansea.
Guess they will be doing it on rankings, but the rankings this morning are all oddly ordered.
Top 5 listed for M18
1 (5 +195) A 7633
2 (25 +1) B 8053
3 (26 +1) C 8050
4 (49 +4117) D 2035
5 (59 +5) E 7903
Should be B,C,E,...,A,..........,D,...

Re: JK start times
but is it the top 20 in each age group 18/20/21 or the top 60 in the overall ranking that get seeded?
