Re: WOC and WUOC test races
You should all know by now that communication isn't the GB Squad managements best strength by now. They are though able to stage some quality selection races. A great day today. Shame there's so few woc spots to fight for. More scarily this is the onlynominated selection race weekend 14 weeks from woc . What do you do about the missing injured athletes who could be back and in great shape by woc like Nixon and Ralph? It's tough at the top. Quality classic tomorrow. I can't grumble with todays winners

I noticed you were the most notable absentee: Are you injured? Do you have any route to get on the team?
I am sort of injured. Primarily my body is unlikely to be able to stand up to the racing demands of the Lake District terrain and therefore unfortunately it is better for me to skip the races in view of the long term.
I have communicated my reasons to some relevant people. It would be unprofessional of me to speculate on my own selection.

Re: WOC and WUOC test races
IOF have removed the 7+7 cap on team numbers, but with no forest qualification races, only 2 GB men in M & L, and three rest days in an 8 day programme maybe we'll only have teams of 5 or 6

By 6th April, as it says on the news article on the British Orienteering homepage, and here. At the latest anyway, but hopefully sooner.
