I'm organising the Peter Palmer Relays later this year and just wanted to clarify the order of prizes.
My interpretation and experience from previous events is that:
1st place is Winner of Peter Palmer trophy even if they qualify as a Joan George or Norwich Trophy team. you can only win one trophy.
If the 2nd placed team qualify as a Joan George or Norwich Trophy Team then they win this trophy and the 2nd Place (Peter Palmer Trophy) cascades down to the next relevant team.
I think in 2010 SARUM came 3rd in overall race and were awarded the Norwich.
I also seem to remember but cannot get results (2011?) that the 2nd placed team were Joan George Winners and 3rd place Norwich, and hence 4th placed team were 2nd in Peter Palmer.
Does anyone have experience of this?

In that case, you'll want to read the competition rules that describe exactly how that works.

Appendix M on this page.

I had read them, however, someone else had also read them and interpreted it differently to me.
So I thought I would ask the forum members.
