Does anyone from OD know where the results are from yesterdays CSC regional event at Bentley Woods. Nothing on their website, either individual results or club qualifying info.
Cheers

Re: CSC at Bentley Woods - results??
Hi Steve, we had a couple of issues with reinstatements which will affect the final scores slightly, so I was hoping to process these through the results software rather than recalculate by hand. In the meantime we've now loaded provisional results to the OD website.
The current CSC scores are: OD 2442, HOC 2373, LEI 2331, WCH 2314. One HOC and one WCH runner will be reinstated which will change these scores, but I don't think by enough to change qualification - though I think the contest for 3rd might be close.
The CST scores are: LOG 1290, WRE 1284, COBOC 566.

Re: CSC at Bentley Woods - results??
When I went to download I was bitten by a small black insect which took a visible piece out of my arm, it's come up like a tennis ball
I think it might have been a Blandford fly - did anyone else suffer? I'm wondering whether to go to the doctors if it doesn't go down today. It's not particularly itchy but rather painful to the touch.
ps - thoroughly enjoyed the event - my first orienteering outing for 4 months and not withstanding my 13 minute walk about at control 10. Bentley is so beautiful.

We've now addressed the 2 reinstatements and re-loaded the individual results to the web. I've also loaded the results to the BOF site for ranking points purposes.
Team results on the website will be updated soon but for reference they are as follows:
CSC: OD 2440, HOC 2376, LEI 2329, WCH 2323.
CST: LOG 1290, WRE 1284, COBOC 566.

They got us at the start - my right arm - huge red/swollen patch appeared Monday with a prominent bite mark in the centre - just about calming down now (Tuesday p.m.) - Mrs. Haloite was a little more unlucky - her two bites - one on each leg, are painful as well as red and swollen

Guessing there are a lot more folk out there with similar stories to tell!

Ifititches (hahaha) has confirmed they were Blandford Flies. She and another club member also report bites and similar reactions. I've never heard of or seen them before and identified them from the web. Hope they are not going to become regular pests.
