Definitely. Always been a "local member" of the club in which area I live (HALO at the moment), even now pay a local membership, despite BOF and full membership of the club most suited to our family requirements (SYO), tried MDOC, AIRE and EBOR also.

I seem to remember that you also had the choice not to be a member of any club. There used to be a couple of highly ranked people taking this option. You do not see it so often these days.

Maybe there should be a neutral zone between the regions to preserve the peace a la North-South Korea, keepng those pesky Midlanders in their place?!

I've just been informed that the CSC final has been moved to December 14th! Is this a good idea? The run up to Christmas is usually pretty hectic.

A last minute re-booking of Long Valley North has led to the unfortunate loss of the land on the original proposed date. However in cooperation with the good will of the competing clubs SN are pleased to still be able to hold the event, still on Long Valley North by switching the date with the SN Trophy.

It was me that informed her (sorry about the grammar).

Given that the information was on the CSC website on the 11th, and on the SN website on the 5th, and I've been away, I'm amazed that noone has mentioned it sooner!
