Should we change the Compass Sport Trophy rules to encourage uni clubs to compete?
Options are:
- Allowing running down (maybe with an age based handicap) or removing the max counters rule.
- Allowing running down just for uni clubs.
- Having different max counters rules for uni clubs.
I'm assuming no uni club has enough members for the cup, but a few could get 13 together for the trophy.
Everyone agrees we need to help uni clubs. Is this one way?
What do uni club members think? What do people from trophy clubs think (I guess most likely to be affected/benefit from new competition are Scottish clubs and clubs in Yorkshire).

More pertinent question: do Uni clubs care about the CS Trophy?

Or should closed Uni clubs allow people of all ages to join? No of course not. That's not what they are for.

Lots of University runners will have a second membership either with a local club or back home with their parents. They will therefore tend to run CSC with that club - or am I wrong?
edited to remove the aberrant apotrophe that graeme spotted ( I have no idea why I put one there!)

Wrong in many ways actually.
There's no such thing as second membership since BO forgot to include in the database spec.
Most students are members of their home club (on the ranking list EUOC has only 8 members, OUOC has 2, SHUOC has 1).
And as for that apostrophe ...
(though to be fair, the main point was right!)

Maybe that's why I am having so much trouble joining a 2nd club

No. Barely enough people care about it anyway and students won't make that number any bigger.
