Re: Urban E-Newsletter
The intention is to (try) to include all Urban related events - so, yes, if the Sprint is Urban based (including University Campus or similar) it will be in!
Thanks for the interest.

What's the urban map extract on your newsletter email? I don't recognise it.

Re: Urban E-Newsletter
Maybe I could run that as a competition in the first newsletter!?
If anyone has any (constructive) thoughts or ideas they are most welcome via e-mail at urbanracinguk(at)btinternet(dot)com

Re: Urban E-Newsletter
Solved it now!
I ran there so should have recognised it - a good urban area (especially the bit on the map extract)!

Re: Urban E-Newsletter
Is there some reason to send it as a subscription newsletter rather than online?

Re: Urban E-Newsletter
The main reason is that it is intended to be available "as and when there's something to say" so the most likely chance of it being read is if it's delivered to your inbox, you don't have to go searching for information!
It's very easy to unsubscribe if you feel it isn't what you are looking for, initially, for the first few newsletters anyway, I'll continue to post reminders that it's available.
My aim is to spread the Urban word and try to keep people who want to be, informed about what's going on, nothing more, nothing less.
b.t.w. I'm on the lookout for any Urban related articles that I can post on the Blog and link to via the Newsletter. Surely you must have something to contribute Graeme? I'd certainly be looking to push the Race The Castles series when it comes around

No doubt.
In the mean time, don't forget there's another Edinburgh Big Weekend coming up, with ...
Friday: Urban Night Sprint at Kings Buildings,
Saturday: Edinburgh Urban Middle-distance Race with a previously-unused start location, including some new terrain courtesy of the University wrecking ball and hod-carriers.
Saturday: Ceilidh (Scottish Urban dancing for the orthographically courageous)
Sunday: Classic race on slightly-used Urban Volcano
Followed a mere six weeks later by the INTrepid with another spanking brand new section of Livingston, so far used only by Murray and Tess in their WOC preparations.
So stick that in your newsletter and post it
